Though the Perham Speech team has been competing on home turf all season due to restrictions brought on by COVID-19, the team hosted their second annual Perham Jacket Classic Tournament virtually on Saturday, March 13. Perham competed amongst 22 teams and tied for first place with the Hawley Speech team.

The following individuals earned honorable mentions and ribbons: Clodarl Seeman (Humor), Isaac Paurus and Jaxon Bain (Duo), Aaron Mycke (Discussion) and Anya Roe (Informative).

A final round consists of the top six to seven speakers in a category. The following individuals broke into final rounds and placed at the tournament:

On March 20, a select group of senior high speech team members will be competing at the National Speech and Debate Association Northern Lights District Qualifier while the rest of the team competes at the Osakis/Parkers Prairie tournament.
