Frazee police seek help in hit and run

The Frazee Police Department is seeking assistance in a hit and run incident.

The Frazee Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in locating a vehicle that was involved in a hit-and-run. The incident happened about 5:45 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 20, a news release from the Frazee Police Department said.

The crash occurred on Second Street Northeast near the alley by the Mahube building, across from the Frazee Liquor Store. The vehicle drove off the roadway and hit one of the Mahube building's air conditioning units.

After hitting the unit, the vehicle drove off, turning left south on Second Street Northeast, before traveling east on East Main Avenue and south on South River Drive.

The vehicle is described as a mid-2000's GMC Envoy/Chevy TrailBlazer-like vehicle and is black or dark blue. There may be damage to the front bumper area. A video exists of the crash and of the vehicle leaving the area.
