The memorial service for Fred Krueger, 79, Frazee, MN will be held Monday, April 23, 2007 at 2 p.m. in the Furey Funeral Home, Frazee, with Reverent Robert Hinckley officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. Fred died on Saturday, March 31, 2007 in his home under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley.
Fred Sigvard Krueger was born on March 9, 1928 in Hitterdal, Minnesota to Paul and Cora (Greene) Krueger. They lived in Hitterdal until moving to Minneapolis during Fred's seventh grade of school. In 1946, he enlisted into the U.S. Army, serving overseas in Germany during WWII. From 1950-1951, Fred served in the U.S. Air Force. After his honorable discharge, he worked for the Federal Government as a Quality Assurance Specialist inspecting missile sites for "Minuteman Missile" sites until his retirement in 1979. In 1975, he moved to Frazee, Minnesota where he lived until his death.
"Freddie" enjoyed fishing, trading boats, hunting, and working on cars in his free time.

He is survived by his loving companion Stephanie Hogan, Frazee, MN; four daughters, Robin (Tom) Caton, Kansas City, MO, Kathryn (Anthony) Fisher, Northfield, MN, Kelly (Jim) Scott, Kansas City, MO, and Marsha (Jack) Hansen, Eagan, MN; one son, Taylor "Scott" (Deby) Krueger, Kansas City, KS; two sisters, Irene Sharp (Earl) King, Detroit Lakes, MN and Betty Roseth, Fergus Falls, MN; ten grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Fred's parents; a son, Paul, at infancy; brothers, Curtis Lindblad and Severt Walstrom; and an infant twin sister at birth, preceded him in death.
