This year the "April Showers Bring May Flowers" Garden Party and Silent Auction will be held Sunday, April 29 from 6-8 p.m. at the New York Mills Regional Cultural Center.
Funds raised from this event support the numerous art education programs offered through the Center.
Members, friends and supporters of the Cultural Center donate garden items or spring related artwork and gifts for the silent auction. Food, wine, music and great conversation help fill the Center with fun and excitement as hopeful bidders circle the tables holding the treasures they desire. It's always lively and entertaining and everyone is invited.
Donations made go directly to programming in the form of educational outreach programs which last year reached 2,200 students in 14 area schools.
The Art In Your Park summer program served 750 kids and musical events drew over 1,300 people to the Center.
