Bob and Nancy Gore of West Bend announce the engagement of their daughter, Katie of Madison, to Cory Brasel, also of Madison. He is the son of Eldon and Carol Brasel of Perham, Minn.
Katie graduated in 1998 from West Bend East High School and in 2002 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she received a degree in theater and drama and communication arts-radio, TV and film. She is a project manager at Epic Systems, a healthcare software company in Madison.
Cory is a 1996 graduate of Perham High School and a 2000 graduate of Concordia College where he earned a degree in physics. He is a technical service engineer at WTS Paradigm, a manufacturing software company in Madison.
An Aug. 12 wedding is being planned by the couple.
