Handguns stolen from home near Clitherall

Two handguns and other items were stolen from a house near Clitherall recently.

The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office said the theft was reported from a residence on 425th Ave. on April 7.

Also reported stolen from the home was $600 in cash.

Sheriff’s deputies found shoe prints from a likely suspect in the yard, and vehicle tracks from the suspect in the driveway.

The matter remains under investigation.
