Pelican Rapids residents passed an operating levy for the school district with 54 percent of the votes. The levy will bring in around $600 per student in general operation funds for the school.
The Henning School District also passed its levy, with 74 percent of residents voting in favor of the move. The levy is set at roughly $1,020 per student.
Battle Lake residents voted down a proposed operating levy for the district, which would have generated roughly $975 per student. The district, which has no operating levy in place, hoped to capture the majority, but fell short with only 45 percent of residents casting 'yes' votes.
