Hilda Lundmark, 93, of Leonard, MN passed away on July 21, 2007, at the Perham Memorial Nursing Home, in Perham, MN.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, July 26, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Country Faith Church in Clearbrook, MN with the Pastor Larry Dorman officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church. interment will be at the Sinclair Township Cemetery at Leonard, MN. The Cease Family Funeral Home in Bagley assisted the family with arrangements.
Hilda was born on October 7, 1913 at Leonard, MN the daughter of Peter and Mina (Franson) Landmark by Clearwater Lake. She grew up outside of Leonard, MN and attended school at the Birchmound School. She worked in St. Paul until she married Vernon Lundmark on August 23, 1937. They raised their seven children on a farm east of Leonard where they lived their entire married life. When Vernon passed away on April 18, 1992, she continued to live on the farm until she moved to the Perham Memorial Nursing Home in December of 2003. Hilda enjoyed caring for her family, sewing, quiltin, chocheting and gardening. She also designed and created a collection of knickknacks out of seashells.
She is survived by her children: Son - Ted (Beverly) Lundmark of Leonard, MN; daughter - Sharon (LeRoy) Dahlke of Dent, MN; son - Donald (Peggy) Lundmark of Virginia Beach, VA; daughter - Corliss (Dwight) Gunning of Crookston, MN; son - Roland (Cindy) Lundmark of Shevlin, MN; son - Bradley (Rita) Lundmark of Cottage Grove, MN; son-in-law - Bill Hanson of Bemigji, MN; sister - Esther King of Drayton, ND; sisters-in-law - Aaste Lundmark of Bemidgi, MN and Adelyn Lundmark of Sulphur, LA; brothers-in-law - Helge Lundmark of Leonard, MN and Paul (Alice) Lundmark of Brainerd, MN; 19 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and many nieces & nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Vernon; daughter, Rosalee Hanson and grandsons, Keith and Zane Lundmark. Brothers - Elmer, John, Oscar and Art Lundmark; Sisters - Henney Lundmark, Betty Hanson and Amy Sorenson. Messages of condolence may be sent to ceasefuneralhome.com.
