Motorists on Highway 10 near New York Mills will experience lane closures, flaggers and possible delays when a resurfacing project begins Monday, Aug. 5, weather permitting.
Sections of eastbound and westbound Highway 10 will be affected. Eastbound Highway 10 will be resurfaced from the railroad overpass west of New York Mills to the east edge of the city. Westbound Highway 10 will be resurfaced from two miles east of Perham to the Bluffton area.
Crews will set up lane closures in the areas where they are working. Different segments of the road will be affected each day.
All work is expected to be complete by mid-September, weather permitting.
When the road work is complete, motorists will notice a smoother ride along seven miles of eastbound Highway 10 and 18 miles of westbound Highway 10.
