A 45-mile chase with speeds up to 125 mph on Interstate 94 ended in Fergus Falls late Friday evening.
Boon Vang, 28, of Minneapolis, was finally stopped with tire disabling devices.
Vang was heading west on I-94 at about 10:30 p.m. Friday when a Minnesota State Patrol trooper attempted to pull him over for speeding, as Vang was going 78 mph in a 70 mph zone. Vang did not stop and instead fled from the trooper, with speeds reaching up to 125 mph. Vang was arrested and taken into custody. Vang was charged Monday in Douglas County with a felony count of fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle and a misdemeanor count of speeding. The State Patrol was assisted by the Fergus Falls Police Department.
