An Iowa woman is face life-threatening injuries after a motorcycle accident on Friday, Aug. 6, a Minnesota State Patrol report said.
This woman, Illa Jo Roth, 48, was a passenger on a 1986 Honda Goldwing that was driven by Arnold Carol Roth, 45. These two, of Rake, Iowa, were westbound on Interstate 94 near milepost 40 and Rothsay about 9:20 a.m. when their motorcycle's tire failed. The motorcycle went out of control and landed in the median ditch.
Both people were injured but Illa Roth's injuries were deemed life-threatening in the reportf. Both were taken to Sanford Hospital in Fargo.
Pelican Rapids Ambulance, Minnesota Department of Transportation, Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office and Rothsay Fire and Rescue responded to the accident.
