A stifling defensive effort and a balanced scoring attack led the Yellowjacket boys to a crushing 63-23 win at Barnesville last Friday.

The two teams played evenly through the first 10 minutes of the game until Perham went on a 17-5 run to end the first half with a 27-13 lead.

The Jacket defense got even tougher in the second half, allowing just 10 points to Barnesville. Perham was especially strong hitting the glass, out-rebounding the Trojans by 22 (36-14),
