Perham finished a disappointing seventh place at the Mid-State Conference Tournament last week in Park Rapids.
Pequot Lakes and defending champ Staples-Motley finished in a tie for first place with 34 points. Crosby-Ironton was a distant third with 25, ahead of Park Rapids (20), Wadena-Deer Creek (15), Detroit Lakes (13) and the Jackets (8).
Perham had a pair of fifth place finishes at the individual tournament, Abbi Paulseth at No. 3 singles and the duo of Mariah Muer and Kate Rennicke at No. 2 doubles.

The Jackets match at New York Mills last Thursday was canceled due to rain.
This week, Perham closes their regular season against Mid-State champ, Pequot Lakes, on Oct. 2 at home starting at 4:30 p.m.
Perham sweeps Mahnomen
Perham had a clean sweep over Mahnomen Tuesday, 7-0. The match was played in Perham after a late scheduling change.
Karlie Miller at No. 2 singles and Becca Huebsch at No. 4 singles didn't lose a point in 6-0, 6-0 wins, as did the No. 2 doubles team of Leah Miller and Amy Pawlowski.
