A Tuesday doubleheder sweep over Staples-Motley clinches at least a tie for the Mid-State Conference championship for the Jackets.
An RBI single by Eric Weller, scoring Justin Berns tied game one in the seventh for Perham. The Jackets went on to the 4-3 win in eight innings after Kenny Moenkedick drove in Tyler Doll for the game winner in the eighth.
In game two, the Jackets exploded for five runs in the first, which proved to be more than enough for Philip Moenkedick as he won his fifth game, leading Perham to a 7-2 victory. Ryan Enger went 4-for-4 with two RBI in the win.

Jackets split with D.L.
The Jackets split with Detroit Lakes last Friday, losing the first game, 5-2, before rebounding in the nightcap with a 13-5 win.
The Lakers began game one with a three-run homer in the top of the first. Perham cut the lead to 3-1 in the second when Kenny Moenkedick scored on a passed ball.
Trailing 4-1 in the sixth, Tyler Doll hit his first home run of the season, cutting the lead in half. D.L. scored an insurance run in the seventh.
Two big innings helped Perham win game two. Trailing 2-1 in the second, Perham put together an eight-run rally, taking advantage of an error and several D.L. misplays. Ryan Enger scored on a wild pitch to tie the game, then Evan Meece put the Jackets ahead with a two-run single. Several batters later, Doll delivered a two-run single, with a third run scoring on a throwing error. Philip Moenkedick later drove in two more with a single, giving Perham a 9-2 lead.
The Jackets scored four more in the sixth, three on passed balls after the Lakers had put up a single run in the third and two more in the fifth.
Perham will travel to Frazee to renew the Battle of the Bees rivalry. On May 16, the Jackets will finish off conference play by hosting Pequot Lakes in a doubleheader at Krueger Field starting at 4 p.m.
Perhams rainout from April 28 at Moorhead will be made-up on May 18 in Moorhead at 5 p.m.
