Kaden William Bachmann was born on October 5, 2006 to Heather Schmitz and Luke Bachmann at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. Kaden passed away on Wednesday, July 25, at Tri-County Hospital in Wadena at nine months of age.
Although Kaden was here for a short time, he brought great joy to his family. The smile that was always on his face, the sparkle in his eyes, Kaden touched everyone he knew. God blessed Kaden's family with many memories, more fulfilled lives, and a special place in each and every heart.
Kaden is survived by his parents, Heather and Luke; grandparents, Bruce and Debra Friest, Steve Schmitz and Randi Gjerstad, and Chuck and Sue Bachmann; great grandmother, Amelia Schmitz; aunts and uncles, Jeremy, Jessica, Jason, Andrea, Joshua, Nicholas, Maggie, Andrew, Abigail, Emma, Tanner, and Parker; and cousin, Brandon. Kaden is preceded in death by great grandparents, William Schmitz, Phillip and Mavis Bernstetter, and Lester and Mabel Bachmann; and great aunts, Sharon Schmitz and Carol Richter.
The funeral Mass were held Tuesday, July 31, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Wadena with Fr. Donald Wagner celebrating the Mass. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Wadena. Honorary pallbearers were Maggie Schmitz, Andrew Friest, Abigail Friest, and Emma Schmitz. The casketbearers were Jeremy Bachmann, Jason Bachmann, Joshua Bachmann, and Nicholas Schmitz.
