The Lady Eagles played their most complete game of the season in beating Parkers Prairie, 10-4 on May 4.
Tessa Wegscheid pitched the seven-inning complete game and scattered six hits and walked three for the win.
NY Mills took a 1-0 lead in the third inning after Morgan Kahilainen walked and later scored on an RBI groundout by Steph Cichy. Wegscheid drove in Macailia Warner and Alyssa Lee with a single in the fifth inning, then the Lady Eagles scored seven runs in the sixth to break the game open. Kristina Boe had two singles in the inning, while Emily Salo and Wegscheid had RBI singles in the inning.
Wegscheid was 3-3 with 3 RBI; Boe was 2-4 with 2 RBI; and Salo was 3-4 with 1 RBI.
Menahga 3, NY Mills 2

Both teams scored one run in the second inning and the offenses were held in check with good pitching on both sides. The Lady Eagles scored one run in the fourth inning to take a 2-1 lead but a defensive breakdown led to two Menahga runs in the fifth and Mills trailed 3-2. Offensively, the Lady Eagles had opportunities to score but could not come up with the big hit. Mills was held to just two hits in the game. They played well defensively until a couple mental lapses in the fifth inning which cost the game. Brea Welter and Kristen Perala each had one hit for Mills.
Menahga 9, NY Mills 4
The offenses were more active in game two of the doubleheader with Menahga. Each team had eight hits but the Braves had better run production to sweep the Lady Eagles.
Menahga scored four runs in the third inning, one in the fifth, two in the sixth and two in the seventh. Mills scored one run in the first, one in the second and two in the fifth. Emily Salo was 3-4 with 3 RBI and Tessa Wegscheid was 2-4.
OTC 5, NY Mills 3
The Lady Eagles out-hit OTC in the game but came up short on the final score. Mills had five hits and OTC just three but the Bulldogs scored two runs in the third, two in the sixth and one in the seventh. The Lady Eagles had four errors in the sixth inning. Tessa Wegscheid pitched another good game, allowing only three hits and two walks.
Emily Salo scored two of Mills three runs. Macailia Warner was 2-3 with a stolen base. Salo, Wegscheid and Kristina Boe each had one hit.
New York Mills is 3-12 on the season.
