The Perham girls golf team is peaking at the right time.
The Lady Jackets put together their best 18-hole score of the year, finishing with a 382 to finish seventh at the Detroit Lakes Invite on Tuesday.
The host Lakers, ranked No. 2-AA, won on their home course with a 327.

Jeanna Kratzke led the team with an 88 (44-44), just missing a top-10 finish at the 18-team event.
Moorheads Kayla Wheeler earned medalist honors with a 76.
Jenine Estlick (95) and Kacey Kachelmyer (97) also broke 100 for Perham.
Big win at Pelican Rapids
The Lady Jackets played one of their best round of golf this spring on Monday at the HOL in Pelican Rapids. Their first place score of 183 was their second lowest of the season and gives them a two-point lead over Pelican Rapids heading into Thursdays HOL Championships at Wildflower G.C.
Kratzke shot a season-low 41 to earn medalist honors. Kacey Kachelmyer finished third overall with a 46, followed by Nikki Mattfeld in fourth with a 47.
Perham leads the HOL with 13 points. Pelican Rapids is next with 15, followed by Hawley/Ulen-Hitterdal with 24 and West Central Area with 34. Thursdays 18-hole championship at Wildflower will count as double points in the final standings.
Tee times for both boys and girls will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Wildflower.
