The Minnesota Alpha Theta Chapter, Detroit Lakes, and surrounding areas of ADK is announcing its annual scholarship award program for any interested high school senior or any current college junior majoring in education. Each year a $750 scholarship will be awarded to two students from area schools.

Any high school student interested in applying should contact their guidance counselor for obtaining for information and application.

College students may obtain information and application by contacting Carol Lewis, ADK Scholarship Chair at #218-483-1042.

Applications needed to be completed and returned by May 1, 2019

Minnesota Alpha Theta Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa is an international honorary professional organization for women educators engaged in teaching, administration or in some specialized field of the teaching profession. Their goals are to sponsor scholarships; to promote world understanding; and to further and maintain worthy community projects in relation to education and charities. Since 1983, Alpha Theta has awarded over $29,000 to recipients majoring in education.
