Walk a Mile
Participants in this year's walk were Dan Peterson, David Howey, Dennis Happel, Chief Jason Holby, Chief Jim Van Schaick, Father Joe Herzog, Heather Pollard, Sheri Finstad and Kris Warhol.

The fifth annual Walk a Mile in Her Shoes fundraiser was held Thursday, September 30, at noon in downtown Perham.

The event shows support and sheds light on all violent crimes. Domestic violence includes family or household members.

The walk is organized by Someplace Safe, which has offices in eight counties. To date, Perham's advocacy has served 200 unduplicated men and women this past year.

Someplace Safe is located in the rectory of St. Stan's. Volunteers and businesses that support this cause continue to keep the doors open; the generosity of this community is overwhelming.
