Schmidt's Circus: A full-page advertisement announced that Schmidt's Circus would be in Perham on Thursday, June 1. Clowns, animals, performances, and rides would be available for audience members. Gate sale tickets would be 50 cents and $1. Ride tickets were eight for $1.
Class of 1972: A total of 124 Perham High School seniors graduated on Thursday evening in a ceremony held in the school auditorium. The Class of 1972 gathered an audience that overflowed seating in the auditorium.

Memorial Day, 1972: Due to rainy and cold weather, Memorial Day services were held in the Perham High School auditorium as opposed to the typical outdoor service. The parade was canceled, but a number of people still showed up for the indoor service.

It's grad day Sunday for Class of '97: Graduation day arrived for the Perham High School Class of 1997 on Sunday, June 1. A total of 145 students graduated. Sara Lindberg was valedictorian. Molly Eckes and Natasha Wagenman were co-salutatorians.

Memorial Day ceremonies: The Perham VFW and American Legion hosted Memorial Day services alongside both Auxiliaries. Candles were lit for veterans who had died, and a guest speaker talked about the influence of media. The Perham High School band also performed throughout the service.

Russia bound: A group of Perham High School students were traveling to Russia in summer 1997. Roxann Daggett donated a Minnesota flag to the students traveling: Lorene Wegscheid, Trescha Steeke, Ryan Januszewski, Brett Glawe, Amanda Weis and Jeff Van Watermulen.
