Memorial benefit planned for Officer Ronald Smith

The benefit will be held Saturday, Feb. 5 from 11 a.m.–4 p.m. at the New York Mills Ballroom in New York Mills.

A memorial benefit in honor of Officer Ronald Smith, who died in December from COVID-19 , will be held Saturday, Feb. 5 from 11 a.m.–4 p.m. at the New York Mills Ballroom in New York Mills, located at 28 West Centennial 84 Drive.

Smith's friends, family and community will gather together for light conversation and storytelling in a time of needed support. A free-will offering meal will be available until gone, and a silent auction will take place.

Donations can be made in lieu of attendance at the Farmers and Merchants State Bank at 11 North Walker Avenue in New York Mills.
