Otter Tail County purchased the former Daily Journal building at 914 East Channing in Fergus Falls, and the building will temporarily house the county's Land and Resource Department.
Minor improvements and modifications were made to allow for temporary service at the new location.
The Land and Resource Management Department will move in phases to the new location. However, services provided by the department will continue at the current location in the Government Services Center until March 18.
Services will resume at the new location on March 21.
“Our team is committed to carrying out the same quality service in the new location,” said Chris LeClair, Land and Resource Management Director. “If anyone has a question we invite them to call, visit the website and/or stop by the new location.”

The county will use the facility as a temporary space through 2022 and possibly into 2023. In the meantime, staff will work with the County Board of Commissioners on a long-range plan for the facility.
