Perham area students earn honors at NDSU, Iowa State

Local college students earned academic honors from area colleges in fall 2021.

The North Dakota State College of Science has named 413 students, including three Perham area students, to its fall semester 2021 President’s Honor List. The Honor List recognizes students who have achieved grade point averages of 3.5 or higher while taking at least 12 credits with letter grades. The local students are:

  • New York Mills: Abram Carlson, Robotics, Automation and Mechatronic Technology ; and Bree Meehl, Registered Nursing.
  • Perham: Stella Raser, Registered Nursing.

Iowa State University recognized over 9,700 students for outstanding academic achievement by being named to the Dean's List. Students named to the Dean's List must have earned a grade point average of at least 3.50 on a 4.00 scale while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded course work. The local students are:

  • Ottertail: Micah Esala, Veterinary Medicine.
  • Perham: Emily Klatzer, Veterinary Medicine.
