Perham speech team finishes first in Underwood

The Perham speech team finished first at a competition in Underwood on Feb. 12.

The following individuals placed:

  • Creative: S. Shippee (11th grade) first place; and Ewan Brandvold (7th grade) second place.
  • Discussion: Reid Starzl (10th grade) first place; Angelina Nicholas (11th grade) sixth place; Jaxon Bain (10th grade) honors first place; and Maddox Wagner (eighth grade) honors second place.
  • Drama: Beau Johnson (12th grade) first place; and Andrea Guajardo (12th grade) honors first place.
  • Duo: Tessa Starzl and Faith Kalina (7th grade) fifth place; and Caidyn Breid and Jillian Bain (8th grade) honors third place.
  • Extemporaneous reading: Molly Pearson (11th grade) third place.
  • Great Speeches: Brynn Greisen (11th grade) third place; and Skye Hayes (10th grade) honors fourth place.
  • Informative: Madeleine Lamb (11th grade) fourth place; Daisy Loerzel (7th grade) sixth place; Nox Cole (7th grade) honors first place; and H. Frost (11th grade) honors fifth place.
