Perham speech team starts season with big wins

Students and honors earned at the first two tournaments of 2023 are listed below.

PERHAM — The Perham Yellowjackets speech team came away with impressive results from the first two tournaments of the year at Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton (DGF) and Fergus Falls.

The Yellowjackets finished first in the event at DGF High School on Saturday, Feb. 4, and finished second in the Fergus Falls event on Jan. 28.

At DGF, Daisy Loerzel, Madeleine Lamb, and Haven Roth earned honorable mentions and ribbons.

The following individuals placed in the top five at the DGF tournament:
