UNDERWOOD — An Underwood man was transported to Sanford Hospital in Fargo as a precaution following a tractor crash on Thursday.

According to an Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office news release, on Aug. 25 at 7:24 p.m., emergency responders were dispatched to a residence near County Road 35 in Underwood for a 93-year-old man who crashed his tractor into a tree. Initial reports indicated the man was "possibly" not breathing.

As first responders arrived to the scene, the man was somewhat concious, but responsive, the news release stated. He was transported to the Fergus Falls airport and flown, via LifeLink III, to Sanford Health in Fargo.

The news release also stated, the man's condition is unknown at this time, but he is not believed to have suffered any life threatening injuries and was only flown to Fargo as a precaution.

The name of the victim has not been released.
