A woman was injured in a pedestrian-motor vehicle accident Friday evening near Beach Bums Bar on the southwest shore of Otter Tail Lake.
Janet Klosterman, 60, of Mooreton, N.D. was crossing on a crosswalk on Otter Tail County Highway 72 when she was struck by a northbound vehicle, according to the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office.
She suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital by Henning Ambulance.
The vehicle driver was James Francis, 52, of Richville, who was cited for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk. Alcohol was not a factor in the crash, according to the sheriff’s office.
The accident was reported at 11:28 p.m. near the intersection with County Highway 145. The State Patrol and Battle Lake Rescue assisted the sheriff’s office at the scene.
