The funeral service for Lorraine H. Ponto, 81, Frazee, MN was held on Saturday, November 4, 2006 at 2 p.m. in Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Frazee with Reverend William Aufdenkamp officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation was on Friday from 4-7 p.m. in the Furey Funeral Home, Frazee and one hour to the service in the church. Lorraine died on Tuesday, October 31, 2006 in the Perham, MN Memorial Hospital.
Lorraine H. Del Main was born the daughter of Oliver and Emma (Bell) Del Main on January 26, 1925 in Frazee, MN. There she was raised and graduated from Frazee High School. She was united in marriage to Lester Ponto in Frazee. They made their home near Frazee where they farmed. Lorraine also sold and consulted with home interiors, Avon products, and painted wildlife and outdoor artwork.
She is survived by her husband, Lester of Frazee, a son, Charles (Rhonda) of Ramsey, MN; two sisters, Eileen Stein of Richland, WA; Izora Pany of Los Angeles, CA; a brother LeRoy "Fox" (Marlys) of Detroit Lakes, MN; five grandchildren, Angie Reinke, Nita Loken, Jolene Buley, Sheri Johnson, Janae Munsch; seven great grandchildren, Lexi Reinke, Julia, Ellie and Levi Loken, Paige and Tyler Buley and Luke Johnson.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents.
