Lund Boats, a leading manufacturer of aluminum fishing boats, announced today that it will sponsor the 2006 In-Fisherman Professional Walleye Tour (PWT - www.in-fisherman.com/pwt ) hosted by the Otter Tail Country Tourism Association ( www.ottertrailcountry.com .)
For the first time in its 16-year history, the In-Fisherman PWT is bringing the elite Super Pro walleye tournament to Otter Tail Lake, June 13-15. Only the top 60 walleye anglers in the country will be allowed to compete for $159,000 in cash and a fully-rigged Lund 1900 Pro V. The winning co-angler will receive a Lund1600 Explorer, tiller powered by a Mercury 50-hp outboard engine, and trailer.
This three-day event will be packed with fun activities and entertainment for everyone, including the daily weigh-in at 7 p.m. The PWT Outdoor festival will start every day at 10 a.m. and feature a rock climbing wall, BB gun range, archery and dog dock jumping, as well as lots of food and prizes for the children.
Lund Boats is planning a meet-and-greet with its 14 Lund pro staff members who will be fishing the tournament, along with a large boat display, prizes for children, and special events for the entire community.
