Mailbox vandalism reported in Perham

A resident who lives on 455th Avenue, northeast of Perham near Little Pine Lake, reported mailbox vandalism to the Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office. The call came in at 10:02 a.m. on March 27.

A resident who lives on 455th Avenue, northeast of Perham near Little Pine Lake, reported mailbox vandalism to the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office. The call came in at 10:02 a.m. on March 27.

The mailbox came down from the post, most likely from use of a blunt object, the sheriff’s office said.

The damage was estimated at $80 and the incident remains under investigation.
