Ronald Dean Swenson, 68, of Battle Lake, was injured in a single-vehicle accident south of Ottertail on Saturday.
The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office said Swenson lost control of his vehicle, a 1992 Nissan 300x passenger car, and the vehicle rolled into a swamp, landing upside-down in the water.
Swenson was removed from the vehicle by the Ottertail Fire Department. He was transported by Henning Ambulance to Lake Region Hospital in Fergus Falls.
His injuries were not immediately known.
The accident occurred at 5:49 p.m. July 27, at the intersection of Highway 55 and Rainbow Lake Road.
