FERGUS FALLS, Minn. - An intoxicated man has been taken into treatment for hypothermia after being found in a yard after a bitter cold night in Fergus Falls.
The man was found by a Fergus Falls woman walking her dog early Monday morning. He was found improperly dressed for the weather and shivering excessively, the Fergus Falls Police Department says. The woman called authorities and the man was taken to a hospital for treatment of hypothermia and frostbite.
No charges were given to the man, who is from Morris, Minn., and there was no notice of violent behavior or resistance, police say.
The low temperature was 13 below zero overnight.
