Mary Esther (Hocke) age 77, of Park Rapids, MN passed away peacefully on Friday, June 16, 2006 at her home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer.
She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Marvin; her brother, Tom Hocke; children: Jed (Diane), Jick, and Shari (Craig) Strane; 8 grandchildren: Jody, Jill, Dawn, Mark, Traci, Brian, Aaron, and Lauren; and four great-grandchildren: Abby, Kaleb, Liam and Paige.
A memorial service to celebrate Mary's life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 24, 2006 at Riverside United Methodist Church in Park Rapids with Reverend Don Bird officiating. Friends and family are invited to share memories beginning at 10:00 A.M. with the service to follow. Following the service a luncheon will be held at the church for all to attend. Memorials are preferred to St. Joseph's Home Care & Hospice of Park Rapids or the Riverside United Methodist Memorial Garden in Park Rapids.
