New Horizons of New York Mills filled 185 vases with daisies for delivery Tuesday for May Day. New Horizons sold the vases in advance for $10 and delivered the arrangements Tuesday in Mills, Perham, Bluffton and Wadena.
Proceeds from the New Horizons fundraiser go to the Elders' Home for its sprinkler project.
The group collected and used recycled vases for the project, as well as donated ribbons. The colorful daisies came from Designs by Tes in NY Mills. At left, Judy Dykhoff cuts a stem and places a couple daisies in a vase at the library Tuesday morning prior to delivery.
