Perham Area Women in Faith, whose mission is to "Reach out to all women with a desire to encourage one another to grow in our faith and in our love for Jesus Christ," invites all women to attend the monthly meeting Monday evening, May 7, 7 p.m. at Perham Community Alliance Church (44664 440th St.).
The evening's agenda will include a time of fellowship, praise and worship, and hearing from guest speaker and flutist, Holly Berry of St. Paul.
Holly has journeyed as a Christian for several years. She has also experienced pain, loss of dreams and hardships. Through all her trials she has seen God sustain her life.
Holly's message is entitled: "Love Surrendered, Being Able to Love God at All Cost." Her topic will relay the message of the Bible verse found in Psalm 34:18 which says: "The Lord is close to the broken hearted. The Lord saves those who are crushed in spirit."
In the fall of 2004, Holly was approved as a presenter for Stonecroft Ministries. She also speaks and ministers in music for women's ministries, conferences, retreats and other events. In this capacity, she shares a message of love and hope and plays the flute to sing words that are impossible to speak to the soul.

She has recently completed her first solo CD project, Songs of Joy, which includes various styles of hymns and inspirational music. CDs will be available to purchase that evening.
