7:01 a.m. Conducted a welfare check on a local resident. The resident was okay.

10:18 a.m. Served an abatement notice to an individual who was living in a recreational vehicle outside of city ordinance. The subject was cooperative and said they would comply.

12:39 p.m. Warned a motorist for an equipment violation.

3:07 p.m. Investigated a check forgery.

5:41 p.m. Took a report of some missing firearms.

7:35 p.m. Assisted the Sheriff's Office with investigation of a burglary.

8:42 p.m. Took a report of vandalism at a local residence.

8:48 p.m. Received a traffic complaint of an erratic driver. The vehicle was located, but the driver was not identified.

8:51 p.m. Took a report of a dog running at large. The owner captured the dog.

2:27 p.m. Responded to a fight call. One person was arrested and cited for disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property.

3:46 p.m. Responded to an industrial fire alarm. It was a false alarm.

4:18 p.m. Received a set of keys that had been turned in to the library.

6:18 p.m. Investigated a report of an open door at an unoccupied residence. An officer found no one at the residence then secured it.

2:06 p.m. Took a report of a knife found on the back porch of a residence that did not belong to the resident.

6:43 p.m. Took a report of a person at a local business that appeared to be in need of assistance. The subject was given a ride home.

9:08 a.m. Officers fingerprinted the 1st Grade class at the New York Mills Elementary School.

11:37 a.m. Took a report of a suspicious phone call to a business that may have been a phishing scheme.

8:16 p.m. Investigated a child protection matter.

April 21

10:54 a.m. Assisted the Sheriff's Office with a child protection matter.

2:08 p.m. Assisted the Perham Police department with an intoxicated person.

4:17 p.m. Assisted the Minnesota State Patrol in looking for ATVs driving on Highway 10. Officers were unable to locate the ATVs.
