-Howard William Molter of Wenatchee, Washington, son of E. W. Molter of Dent, was killed in a train accident at Wenatchee Tuesday.

The new Prairie Drive-In Theatre will open Wednesday, May 9, according to Mr. and Mrs. Roy Rasmussen, Proprietors.

Smalley Smiles - Last week that man Royale Arvig ran a want ad saying he had found 22 old ten dollar bills in the former Bever Palzer Market building he is razing to make way for a new telephone office. He offered to give them to anyone who could give him the serial numbers!

Warden Paul Krueger was notified Wednesday that an unidentified motorist had struck a doe three miles west of New York Mills. The deer was carrying three unborn fawns when it was killed.

The Barrel O' Fun Potato Chips plant in Perham has been acquired by a new owner, the G. Heileman Brewing Company, it was announced this week by Ken Nelson.

$25,000 of an $487,000 House Appropriations bill which passed through the House Appropriations Committee Monday on a voice vote, is earmarked for cleaning up the Perham arsenic dump. The bill states the money will go to any arsenic site which has caused human poisoning and of the three dumps in the state Perham's is the only one to poison anybody.

Eva Schmidt's 33-year career in teaching piano and organ in Perham, in the Fargo area, and Minneapolis, came to a dramatic close last Saturday night at a recital of her 30 pupils - from the area - her 17th and final recital here - before a standing room only crowd of parents, relatives and friends, in the Community Hall.
