Ever since Robin Rautus came to town and opened the Academy of Classical Ballet it's been a dream that someday Perham could host it's own production of that classic Christmas story, the Nutcracker Ballet. This year it's going to happen. Robin's students, some of whom have been with her since the school opened, are ready to perform the dances.

Special guest stars Laura Wegrzn and Eric Hines will perform the roles of Sugar Plum Fairy and Cavalier. Robin has enlisted the help of the community to play the non-dancing roles.

Put Dec. 2-3 on your calendar right away. The Saturday evening performance begins at 7:30 p.m. with the Sunday matinee at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students and can be purchased at any History Museum location, 230 First Avenue North; Best of Times at 143 2nd St. SW; or ITOW Veterans Museum at 805 West Main. In New York Mills tickets are available at the Cultural Center.

You may also pay for tickets by credit card over the phone by calling 218-346-7678.
