New York Mills High School announced the 2008 Homecoming candidates and a list of events scheduled for Homecoming Week, Sept. 22-26
Homecoming Coronation takes place Monday, Sept. 22 at 8 p.m. in the school auditorium. David Snelgrove and Trisha Loerzel will MC the event.
A class poster competition will be held Wednesday, Sept. 24.
A number of activities and events are planned for Friday, Sept. 26. A Spirit Breakfast will be held that morning, followed by the Red Wagon Parade put on by grades 7-12 to be held in the elementary school. The Pep Fest takes place on Friday (Sept. 26) during 5th block.
The Homecoming football game against Parkers Prairie is Friday, 7 p.m., at Smith Field. The Homecoming dance starts after the game and runs until midnight.

The senior class also announced each "Dress-up" day during Homecoming Week.

Tuesday - Genre Day (7th grade-Nerd/Geek; 8th grade-Cowboy/Cowgirl; 9th grade-Hobo/Bum; 10th grade-Punk Rocker; 11th grade-Preppy/Jock; 12th grade-Gangster
