Thousands of stories packed into piles upon piles of books for sale at the Library's annual used book sale. Novels, comic books, classics and much more are practically a steal when sold at bargain prices to raise funds for the library.
The City Hall Ballroom hosts the sale Aug. 3-4, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Prices are 50 cents for hardcover and 25 cents for paperback on Aug 4. The best selection will be offered Aug. 3 during the preview sale from 5-7 p.m., in the City Hall ballroom. All books are priced at $1 during the early sale.
Reading is for all ages and Friday's sale should suit everyone's needs. Romance, adventure, mystery, or western--a plentiful array of books ranging from these topics plus a wide selection of others should be sure to please shoppers.
The library is also taking donations or accepting donations of books, DVDs, videos, but NO magazines. Drop off donations during library hours. The event is sponsored by Friends of the Library.
