Get to Know'em: Mike Baune (jr.), David Snelgrove (jr.), David Ayers (jr.), Joe Hendrickx (jr.), Collin Ness (jr.), Brandon Menze (jr.).

Strengths: The Eagles will have an athletic team with three returning starters (Peeters, Helmeke, Baune). VanDyke and Snelgrove also have varsity experience. NY Mills will be particularly strong at the guard position, and they have the returning conference M.V.P. in Peeters.

Season Outlook: Returning conference champ Bertha-Hewitt is favored to win their 3rd straight Park Region crown. Mills can compete for the top spot, along with Verndale and last year's cellar-dwellars, Sebeka. Defending champ Cass Lake-Bena is out in the realligned Section 6A. Norman County East and Ada-Borup will be among the top teams, as will Mills, Verndale, Sebeka and Barnesville.

Coaches Quote: "This season there will be a lot of balance in both our conference and section. Night in and night out we will have to show up and be ready to improve in practice to have a chance at being successful. With this balance presents a challenge which makes the season exciting. We will need to show up and battle to earn victories as there will be no givens."
