Eagles win at St. John's Prep
After having their match at St. John's Prep postponed on Sept. 25, New York Mills traveled to Collegeville Monday and came home with a 5-2 win.
The Eagles swept the doubles matches, all in straight sets. Stephanie (No. 1) and younger sister Missy Hendrickx (No. 4) won in singles.
"Our team played well to get our third win of the year," head coach Gary Bach said. "Prep competed well with our players at the middle singles spots and won two close matches.
St. John's finished fourth at last week's Prairie Conference Tournament.

Sections ahead
Mills will travel to Perham today (Oct. 2) in the final regular season match for both teams. The Eagles beat Perham, 4-3, two weeks ago.
Section rosters were due this week, and playoff seeding was set to take place on Oct. 1, before EOT?Illustrated went to press. A play-in match will be played on Oct. 7 at the higher seeds. The 8A?Team semifinals and finals, along with the individual tournament, will be held indoors at Gold's Gym in Sartell, Oct. 10-11.
