Head Coach: Amy Koskela (4th Season, 35-37-5 overall).

Assistant Coach: Connie Kawlewski.

2007 Season: 12-13-1 overall, 4-3 Park Region Conference (T-3rd Place). Sebeka won the PRC with a 16-8 overall record and a 6-0 conference record.

2007 Sections: NY?Mills was the No. 6 seed in the 6A?North Sub-Section Tournament. They beat No. 11 Waubun, 3-1 in the first round, then lost 3-2, to No. 3 Hawley in the sub-section quarterfinals. South No. 3 Wheaton beat the North's No. 1 Ada-Borup for the 6A?Championship.

Wheaton lost in the State quarterfinals to Windom Area. Windom Area eventually lost in the Class A?Championship to Bethlehem Academy.

2008 Seniors: Betsy Bernu (Co-Captain), Bobbi Smith (Co-Captain), Morgan Kahilainen.

Get to Know'em: Hannah Rutten (jr.), Betsy Helmeke (jr.), Kimberlee Erickson (jr.), Laurun Rud (jr.), RaeAnna Salo (jr.), Nicole Nebosis (jr.), Molly Walgren (jr.), Lauren Johnson (jr.).

Strengths: The Eagles will be strong up front with Rutten and Smith in the middle and Bernu, last year's most improved player, on the outside. Kahilainen was All-Conference last year, leading the team in assists.

This team has been together for a while and has experience.

Season Outlook: The PRC will be strong, with Sebeka, Bertha-Hewitt, Henning and Mills all will battle for the title.

In Section 6A, Ada-Borup is the favorite with Underwood, Ashby, Brandon-Evansville and Parkers Prairie returning strong teams.

Coaches Quote: "One of our major goals this year is to have more communication on the court. If we can make that happen, I?think we could be tougher than we have been in a few years."
