About $140,000 in residential construction and remodeling is expected, based on September-October building permits issued at Perham City Hall.
Commercial construction permits totalled only three during those months, but one was the $775,000 permit issued for the construction of the new Perham municipal liquor store.
Other commercial permits included a garage door installation at Ghost Runner and a fence installation at Five Star Storage.
Only one new home permit was written in September-October. The other 23 permits were for four new garage projects, numerous roofing projects, and siding projects--for a total of nearly $140,000 in residential building activity.
