At least one person was injured in a two-vehicle traffic accident just west of Perham at 8:05 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 3.
The accident took place near the intersection of Highway 34 and West Coney Street.
Sheriff deputies said one vehicle had stopped and was waiting to turn onto Highway 34 when the vehicle was rear-ended by a pickup truck.
Cabin vandalized
A cabin on the east side of Stuart Lake, northwest of Vining, was reported as vandalized. The incident likely took place in the two weeks prior to Sept. 3.
The owner said there was a broken lock on a sliding door, the windshield on a boat was broken, and other vandalism took place.
