Three people received minor injuries in a traffic accident north of Perham early Wednesday, Sept. 16.
Sheriff deputies said the driver lost control of the vehicle, on 505th Street, while making a sharp right turn. The vehicle overturned and landed on its roof in the middle of the roadway.
The vehicle was later towed from the scene of the accident.
Motorycle driver injured
The driver of a motorcycle sustained a broken leg in an accident that took place northeast of New York Mills at 12:13 p.m. on Sept. 14.
Sheriff deputies said the accident took place at the intersection of Highway 8 and 595th Avenue.

The driver took the turn too wide. One tire hit the shoulder of the road. The cycle then tipped onto the driver.
Shed burned, house damaged
Fire destroyed a shed and caused extensive damage to a house near Long Lake, north of Fergus Falls and southeast of Erhard, in the mid-morning of Sept. 15.
Authorities said a well pump fire spread to an unoccupied dwelling. The fire was most likely due to an electrical fault. The fire was Clay Bank Road near Long Lake.
There were no injuries. The Red Cross assisted family members with housing.
Drug arrest made
One person was arrested on drug possession east of Richville at 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 15. The location was near the intersection of Highways 14 and 78.
The suspect, a male, was in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. He was driving with a suspended license, had no vehicle insurance and was charged with fifth degree drug possession.
Generator stolen
Sheriff deputies reported that a Gentec 7 generator valued at $1,200 was stolen from a garage near Highway 114, southwest of Fergus Falls.
The theft was reported Sept. 14.

Drug arrest made
Sheriff deputies made a drug arrest shortly before midnight on Sept. 14 just south of Pelican Rapids.
A 28-year-old man was arrested for third degree drug possession. He was taken to the Otter Tail County detention center in Fergus Falls.
Among the items taken were hallucinogens that cause profound distortions in a person’s perceptions of reality.
