The Ottertail Coalition of Lake Associations will hold its last monthly meeting on Saturday, September 27, at the Ottertail Community Center beginning at 9:00 a.m.
Darren Newville, District Manager of the East Otter Tail County Soil and Water Conservation District, will be the speaker in September. He will present the Local Water Plan, where we are in the current update process, and what we have done with the water plan in the past.
COLA is a non-profit organization established to facilitate cooperation among lake and river associations and assist in fostering wise use of the lake and stream areas. A major emphasis for COLA is water testing. 54 member lakes participate in water testing, helping to determine trends in water quality.
