Dressed for the part, Dan and Debbie Ament cheerily took up the task of decorating Perham's city Christmas tree. With Santa hats, a tall ladder, lights, tinsel, and some enormous bows, they helped transform the white spruce tree into a creative icon of holiday spirit--just in time for the Parade of Lights Nov. 24, 6 p.m. in Perham.
This is the first year the two helped decorate the city tree. Dan and Debbie work with Santa's Christmas Trees, a tree farm located south of Perham.
