Administrators and staff at Heart of the Lakes are reminding parents that the school doors are unlocked at 7:45 every day.
There are no staff members available before 7:45 to supervise children inside or outside the building, so the school is asking parents not to drop your child off prior to 7:45.
Parents who need before-school day care should call Latchkey at 346-1402 to make arrangements.
The cost is $2.50 per hour for the first child and $2.25 per hour for any additional children from the same family.
Latchkey is held at the Family Resource Center and students are bussed over to the Heart of the Lakes school at 7:45.
