Minnesota Highway Patrol officials said the pickup driver, Jeff C. Harrison, was trying to make a right turn in his Ford Superduty pickup from 1st Street Northeast onto Highway 10 sometime before 8:49 p.m. Monday when he hit the pedestrian, Richard O. Brander, who was in the traffic lane.

Brander, 67, suffered non-life-threatening injuries, officials said, and injuries to Harrison, 56, weren't documented. Both men are from Wadena.
